Nawaz Sharif said when talking about India-Pakistan relations, “The next 75 years should not be wasted…”

Former Pakistani Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif was interviewed by Indian media. During his visit to Pakistan here, Foreign Minister S. Jaishankar said that this was “a start”. India and Pakistan are expected to put their past behind them and address future issues such as energy and climate change. Nawaz Sharif said we should start from where we left off. 75 years have passed like this. Don’t waste another 75 years.

The former prime minister of Pakistan said the peace process should not be disrupted. Therefore, both sides should sit down and talk seriously. He said we can’t change our neighbors and we should live like good neighbors. Regarding Prime Minister Modi, he said

During the conversation, Sharif said that we should not look back on the past and focus on the future. What happened in the past should not have happened. The future holds many possibilities. He said there was a time when there was a power shortage in India and the then Prime Minister Atal Bihari Vajpayee called me to buy power from Pakistan.

Regarding Prime Minister Modi, Sharif said that it was a pleasant surprise for Prime Minister Modi to come to Rawalpindi to meet us. He also had a long chat with my mom. This is no small matter.
