The meeting of NDA leaders on the Maharashtra Assembly has lasted for one and a half hours. The ongoing dispute over seats for Ajit Pawar-led Nationalist Party has been resolved in the meeting, sources said. According to sources, Nawab Malik’s candidature has been rejected. Malik will be the parliamentary candidate of the National Congress Party. However, Sana Malik’s candidacy will remain. The decision was taken at a meeting chaired by Union Home Minister Amit Shah.
According to sources, Ram Satput will also not be a candidate. Talks with the NCP have now concluded. The meeting is now discussing the issue of the BJP and the Shinde Shiv Sena.
