NCP leader Nawab Malik
As the date for the Maharashtra Assembly elections draws closer, a series of accusations and counter-allegations are mounting among political parties. In this series, Ajit Pawar’s Nationalist Congress leader Nawab Malik from Mankhurd Shivaji Nagar After winning the votes, BJP leader Kirit Somaiya lashed out at the NCP. He said Nawab Malik was a terrorist and was trying to destroy the country. He further stated that he is related to Daoud Ibrahim and is his manager. Somaiya said Ajit Pawar’s NCP betrayed the country by giving him the ticket.
Notably, Nawab Malik filed his nomination from Manhood Shivaji Nagar on Tuesday, leading to confusion in front of the BJP and the Shiv Sena (Shindhi faction). The reason is that Mahayuthi’s Shiva Sena has announced Suresh Krishna Patil as its candidate for the seat.
