Narak Chaturdash 2024 Date: Today is Narak Chaturdashi. This festival is celebrated a day before Diwali. It is also known as Narak Chaudas or Chhoti Diwali. This year’s Narak Chaturdashi will start on October 30 at 1:15 pm. It will end at 3:52 pm the next day, October 31st. During Narak Chaturdashi festival, people donate lamps in the evening. Therefore, Narak Chaturdashi will be celebrated only on 30th October. The auspicious timing of Chhoti Diwali puja is on October 30 from 4:36 pm to 6:15 pm.
To light the Yama lamp, take a large clay lamp with four sides. Install four lamps inside and pour mustard oil. Then in the evening, at an auspicious occasion, light the “taro lamp” at home with your family. Place the lamp outside the house facing south. After lighting the lamp, rotate it around the house. By doing this, you can avoid the risk of accidents or premature death for your family.
