Nabanna Abhiyaan is a movement of common people to save Bengal: Sukanta Majumdar
Posted by :- deepak mishra
West Bengal BJP president Sukanta Majumdar criticized the use of force by the police on the protesters during the Nabanna campaign. He said that the police lathicharged the students and fired tear gas shells, we came to know that some policemen were drunk. The police sprayed water mixed with chemicals. Have the students done anything wrong? In a drunken state, the police hit a woman on the head with a stick. This was a movement of common people to save Bengal. A student has been admitted to the hospital in an injured state, we do not know whether he was shot or injured by a tear gas shell. This proves that the Left Front is engaged in a settlement with the ruling party of the state. We will sit on a dharna tomorrow or day after the court’s order, we have knocked the door of the High Court which will be heard tomorrow. The police has not given us permission to sit on a dharna. BJP’s Mahila Morcha will organize a ‘Tala Lagao Abhiyan’ on the Women’s Commission office on August 30. We are calling for a Bengal bandh tomorrow at 12 noon in protest against today’s incident. The strike will take place from 6 am to 6 pm.
