‘It is necessary to create fear among sinners’

PM Modi said that I would also like to say that whenever incidents of rape or atrocities against women occur, it is widely discussed. But when a person with such demonic tendencies is punished, it is not in the news but remains limited to one corner. The need of the hour is that there should be a comprehensive discussion on those who are punished so that those who commit sins understand that this leads to death sentence. I think it is very important to create this fear.”
