Many times, cases of flight getting delayed due to fights or disputes among passengers come to light. But the recent case of flight delay in China is a bit surprising. In this, a woman created so much ruckus for her luxury bag that the police had to be called to remove her from the flight. Due to all this the flight got delayed by an hour.
The video of the incident went viral on the Chinese social media app Douyin. A passenger said that the woman sitting in the economy class wanted to keep her Louis Vuitton luxury handbag next to her instead of under the seat in front, due to which the whole ruckus happened.
On August 10, the woman’s flight was scheduled to take off from an airport in Chongqing municipality in southwestern China. Then there was a dispute in the flight regarding keeping the luggage. The woman said that her bag of Louis Vuitton was worth about US$3,000 (Rs. 2,51803) and she would keep it next to her and not under any seat. The crew explained to the woman that it would cause inconvenience to other passengers but She was not ready to agree and finally the police had to be called and the woman had to be removed from the flight.
The airline did not respond to questions about the case. Also, the identity of the woman was not revealed. This incident has sparked a heated debate on China’s social media. People are commenting a lot on the matter. A user wrote on Weibo – This bag must have been dearer to this woman than her life. Another one jokingly said – She travels in economy and is showing off her luxury bag. Another user said – The crew should have given the woman a bag in which she could keep her bag.
