A major accident took place during the Kanwar Yatra in Muzaffarnagar, UP. One Kanwariya died and eight others were injured in this accident. Actually, the DJ and generator tied to the mini truck had fallen on the Kanwadis. This truck was running with the Kanwariyas, which was filled with their food items etc. But this accident happened due to sudden braking.
According to the news agency, one Kanwariya died and more than half a dozen were injured in the accident that took place in Ratanpuri area on Wednesday. In fact, many groups of Kanwadis often take a truck with them, which carries their food items and other essential items. DJ and generator were also kept on this truck.
Circle Officer (CO) of the area Gajendra Pal said – A Kanwariya named Dinesh (24) died. The accident occurred when a generator placed on top of a truck following Dinesh fell on him. Reportedly the driver had applied the brakes suddenly. 8 other Kanwariyas were also injured in this incident. The injured have been admitted to the hospital, their condition is out of danger.
However, the truck driver absconded after the incident. The police is searching for him. The inspection of the matter is going on. The death of Kanwariya Dinesh created chaos among the family members. On the other hand, the families of the injured are reaching the hospital to inquire about the well-being of their loved ones.
Kanwariyas died in these districts also
Yesterday (July 30), two Kanwariyas died in a road accident in Bijnor district. This accident happened when the Kanwariyas from Pilibhit district were going to Haridwar to collect Ganga water. During this time his vehicle collided with a stray animal. Police reached the spot and took the injured to the hospital, where doctors declared them dead.
Earlier, two Kanwariyas died in a collision with a speeding Bolero in Ghazipur. While three Kanwariyas were injured. This accident happened when the Kanwariyas were going to Baba Dham with Ganga water from Kaithi Markande Dham. Both the deceased Kanwariyas were minors.
Apart from this, three Kanwadis have also died in the pilgrimage town of Soron in Etah. One died due to the sudden fall of the DJ, while the other died due to a collision with the bike. Apart from this, the third Kanwariya died due to ill health.
