November 20, 2024: Mumbai Elections 2024 Live Updates– Maharashtra begins its assembly elections today, witnessing an early surge of voters. Voting started at 7 am and Bollywood celebrities, political leaders and citizens of Mumbai went to the polling stations to cast their votes.
Bollywood stars set the trend
Actor Akshay Kumar was one of the first celebrities to vote. Akshay arrived at the polling station early on Wednesday morning and appreciated the excellent arrangements at the polling station, especially for senior citizens, and greeted the paparazzi with a cheerful “good morning”.
Actor Rajkummar Rao also fulfilled his civic duty and cast his vote at the Gyan Kendra Secondary School polling station in Mumbai. In Malkapur, BJP candidate Chainsukh Madanlal Sancheti received public support from actress Kangana Ranaut. In a video appeal, Kangana urged voters to support Sancheti and support the BJP-Mahayuti alliance.
