Moto G85 5G may launch in India soon in two new color options

The Moto G85 5G was launched in India in July this year in three color options. Now, news has it that the phone will be available in a fourth color, Magenta. The launch schedule for the new variant has not yet been announced. Meanwhile, a report suggests that the phone may also come in a new Green color. The phone is rumoured to be launched during the upcoming Flipkart Big Billion Days sale. With an IP52 rating and a faux leather finish, the Moto G85 5G was first unveiled in select global markets in June.

Moto G85 5G New Colors

Moto G85 5G is rumored to launch in a new Viva Magenta colorway. The upcoming variant has been listed on Flipkart and has also appeared on the Motorola India website. The listing on the e-commerce site states that it is “coming soon”, but the exact launch date has not yet been announced. However, an image shared in the official X post suggests that the Viva Magenta variant may debut during the upcoming Flipkart Big Billion Days sale.

Moto G85 5G is available on Flipkart

On the other hand, a new report from 91Mobiles claims that the Moto G85 5G will also be available in a new green color. The phone is currently available in three colors – Cobalt Blue, Olive Green, and Metropolitan Grey. Reports suggest that the new green color will be a darker option of the existing Olive Green. The dark green shade of the phone is expected to be launched during the Flipkart Big Billion Days, which starts on September 27.

The Flipkart listing confirms a fourth Viva Magenta variant of the Moto G85 5G. If the reports are true, the Dark Green colorway could very well be the fifth option. Notably, both color options appear to feature a faux leather finish, similar to the existing variants.

Moto G85 5G specifications, price in India

The Moto G85 5G features a 6.67-inch 120Hz Full HD+ 3D curved pOLED screen with Corning Gorilla Glass 5 protection. The phone is powered by a Snapdragon 6s Gen 3 SoC, a 5,000mAh battery (with support for 33W wired fast charging), and an IP52-rated body. In terms of optics, it has a 50-megapixel dual rear camera and a 32-megapixel selfie camera.

Motorola has launched the Moto G85 5G in India at Rs 17,999 for the base 8GB + 128GB variant, while the 12GB + 256GB variant is priced at Rs 19,999. The teased Viva Magenta variant is also being sold on Flipkart at a similar price.
