The Bhadarsa shopping complex of SP leader Moeed Khan, the main accused in the Ayodhya rape case, is being demolished. The demolition of this complex with about 50 shops was carried out using Pokeland, JCB, bulldozer machines. During this, a huge police force along with the district administration officials was present on the spot. The area was converted into a cantonment so that the law and order situation does not deteriorate.
The administration said that one-third of this complex of Moeed Khan is illegal, which also included a government bank. Regarding this, the administration had pasted notices on the shops running in the illegal part. After the shops were vacated, the demolition action was carried out. Earlier, Moeed Khan’s bakery was demolished. It was built illegally. Moeed Khan is also accused of illegally occupying many government lands including ponds and graveyards.
Moeed Khan was not responding to the notice
Meanwhile, in this entire matter, Ayodhya Development Authority Secretary SP Singh while talking to ‘Aaj Tak’ said that since last March, the authority was continuously giving notices to Moeed Khan. But due to his arrogance, he was neither receiving the notices nor submitting the map of this shopping complex to the development authority.
According to SP Singh, this shopping complex was built by occupying the pond and the land of the village society. Its construction was done without map approval. There was no response to repeated notices regarding this complex worth crores. Finally, demolition action was taken. Currently, the team of Vikas Pradhikaran and SDM Sohawal is investigating other illegal properties of Moeed Khan and people associated with him.
It is being told that the shopping complex is very big. It may take two-three hours to demolish it completely. After that the debris will be cleared from here. Currently, the bulldozer has started running on the front part as well as the back part of the complex. Both the front and the back part are being demolished simultaneously.

Let us tell you that this Ayodhya rape incident is from Pura Kalandar police station area, where after raping a minor, the accused made an obscene video of her and then blackmailed her for a long time and kept raping her in turns. This case came to light when the victim became two months pregnant.
The victim’s family complained about this matter to the police but it is alleged that initially no action was taken on it. Later, when the people of Nishad Party along with Hindu organizations expressed anger, the police arrested SP’s Bhadarsa Nagar President Moeed Khan and Raju, who worked at his bakery.
The mother of the rape victim met CM Yogi Adityanath in Lucknow on 2 August. During this, CM Yogi had assured strict action against SP leader Moeed Khan and other accused. After which the police station in-charge and outpost in-charge were suspended. Apart from this, investigation of the accused’s property started and bulldozer action was also taken on his illegal bakery. Along with this, financial assistance of Rs 5 lakh was given to the victim’s family.
