According to sources, Mithun Chakraborty went to Nirsa constituency to attend the election rally of BJP candidate Aparna Sen Gupta. As a large crowd gathered to catch a glimpse of the Bollywood star, Mithun was targeted by pickpockets and his wallet was stolen during the gathering.

Videos of the BJP rally went viral on social media. In the video, a party member can be heard addressing the rally and asking the crowd and people on stage to return Mithun Chakraborty’s wallet. A microphone on stage demanded that anyone in the crowd who took Mithun da’s wallet should return it. This is not the culture of Jharkhand.

According to sources, Mithun went to address a public rally in support of BJP candidate Aparna Sen Gupta at Kaliasol in Nilsa assembly area of ​​Dhanbad district on Tuesday. Mithun Chakraborty, a star campaigner of the Bharatiya Janata Party, came to campaign in Nilsa assembly constituency but was pickpocketed by someone in the crowd.

Congress mocked

Meanwhile, Congress took a dig at Mitong over the wallet theft. Bihar Congress shared the video of its X account. The tweet read, “Disco dancer Mithun Chakraborty’s wallet was stolen from the BJP stage”. Meanwhile, the BJP is yet to make an official statement in this regard. Apart from this, there is no information about the registered FIR.

The election will be held in two phases

Let us tell you that the assembly elections will be held in two phases in Jharkhand on November 13 and 20. The first phase of the campaign has ended and the second phase is in full swing. Counting of votes in Jharkhand will take place on November 23.
