Mitchell Starc dealt India a heavy blow on the first ball of the match when he dismissed opener Yashasvi Jaiswal. Thereafter, KL Rahul and Shubman Gill performed well in the Indian team but they too failed to succeed in building a good partnership. Mitchell Starc comes in between, constantly disrupting India’s batting. As a result, India were knocked out of the first two games, scoring just 180 runs. Although in the first game of this series, India scored 150 runs in the first innings, but even then they won the game. But against a team like Australia, if you keep getting results like this and still think about winning, that might not be the right thing.
Mitchell Starc delivers best performance of his Test career
Meanwhile, Mitchell Starc achieved the feat of taking 5 wickets for the first time in a Test against India. Now, with 48 runs and six wickets, this has become the best performance of his Test career. Earlier in 2016, he scored 50 against Sri Lanka in Galle and took 6 wickets. This thing is getting old now. Now, this is his best performance. Although he has taken 5 wickets in 15 games, this game might be different for him as he is facing an Indian team which is a big and strong challenge for him .

After dismissing Yashasvi Jaiswal on the first ball of the match, Mitchell Starc also dismissed KL Rahul who scored 37 runs. He dealt a heavy blow to India when he dismissed Virat Kohli after scoring just seven runs. Following this, Nitish Kumar Reddy, Ravichandran Ashwin and Harshit Rana were also dismissed by Mitchell Starc. This means that Starc made a huge contribution in helping India get out by a small margin.
