However, the report contradicts his account of self-defence. The court ruling indicates that Joksimovic was strangled to death before she died. The accused, Thomas, was arrested the day after Kristina’s body was found. According to BZ Basel, the accused initially claimed that he found Kristina dead and that he dismembered her body in a panic.
