A minor girl suddenly went missing in Thane district of Maharashtra. She left her house and went to a birthday party at a friend’s house. But after that she did not return home. Now the police have registered a case of kidnapping in this matter on the complaint of family members.
Giving information about this, a Thane Police official told PTI that the incident took place on August 12. That day the 16 year old girl had gone to attend a birthday celebration organized at her friend’s house. Then she did not come back.
The officer in charge of Thane’s Vishnunagar police station said that the minor girl is a resident of Dombivali. She had gone to her friend’s house to attend a birthday celebration and since then there has been no trace of her. His search is on.
According to the station in-charge, on Tuesday, on the complaint of the girl’s parents, a case of kidnapping has been registered in this case under the provisions of the Indian Justice Code (BNS). Now further investigation is going on in this case.
