Bhadohi Police and Labour Enforcement Department team raided the house of Samajwadi Party (SP) MLA Zahid Beg. During this, a 14-year-old girl was freed from child labour. According to the agency, Superintendent of Police Meenakshi Katyayan said that the domestic help found dead in the MLA’s house had been working for the last eight years. She committed suicide on Monday. When a raid was conducted in the MLA’s house, a minor girl was found working in the MLA’s house. She has been sent for medical examination.
Labour department officials said a case is being filed against the MLA for the death of the domestic help and for making a minor girl do domestic work.

The body of Samajwadi Party MLA Zahid Beg’s maid was found hanging from a noose in a room of his house. After getting information about this case, the police reached the spot and the body was taken out by breaking the door. After this, the police got the post-mortem done. The forensic team also reached the spot and investigated.
Area officer Ajay Kumar Chauhan had told that the name of the deceased girl is Nazia. She was working in Zahid Beg’s house for the last several years. Her family lived in Kanshiram Awas in Mamdev area. She lived in a room on the upper floor of the MLA’s house in Malikana locality. Her body was found hanging from the fan in the same room. On Monday morning, when she did not wake up for a long time, the MLA’s family members went to see her and found her body hanging from the fan.
