On July 23, 2024, in Meerut, Uttar Pradesh, the body of a teenage girl was found lying in a sugarcane field in Sardhana area. The deceased girl was identified as Mehak, a resident of the area, who was missing since July 21, 2024. There was a sensation after the body was found, the family members of the deceased had accused her of gangrape and hiding her identity by pouring acid on her face. During the investigation, the police came to know that the girl was in a love affair with a young man named Haseen, who lived in the same village. The police took Haseen into custody and interrogated her. So the whole matter came out in the open.
Haseen told the police during interrogation that she used to constantly blackmail the girl and demand money. In one and a half years, he had given approximately Rs 2.5 lakh to the girl. Apart from this, Hasin told the police that he did not do any work and used to sit at the shop with his brother. Every time he was finding it difficult to arrange money. Troubled by these things, he planned to remove his girlfriend from the way. The accused called her on the pretext of going to a restaurant and took her on a scooter to a sugarcane field in the village. There he cut his neck with a knife and threw the body there and ran away.
Girlfriend was extorting money by threatening to implicate her in rape case
In this case, SP Dehat Kamlesh Bahadur said that on 23rd, the body of a minor girl was found in Sardhana area of Meerut. It was told by the family members of the deceased that a young man named Hasin, resident of the same village, had kidnapped and murdered her. A case was registered on this complaint and an in-depth investigation was started.
Police came to know that Haseen and Kishori were friends. As part of the plan, Hasin called the girl to a restaurant on the 21st and murdered her by slitting her throat. The accused was arrested and the knife used in the murder was also recovered from him.
Police arrested the accused lover and sent him to jail
SP Dehat Kamlesh Bahadur told that the girl was in a love affair with the accused and the girl was blackmailing him by threatening to implicate him in a rape case. The accused also told that he had given around Rs 2.5 lakh to the girl, but the post-mortem report did not confirm that acid was poured on the body.
