Bahujan Samaj Party (BSP) national president and former UP Chief Minister Mayawati has expressed strong displeasure over a BJP MLA calling her a corrupt Chief Minister and has demanded strict action from the BJP in this matter. She has also expressed gratitude to SP President Akhilesh Yadav for his support on this issue.
Mayawati said through social media on Saturday that SP chief Akhilesh Yadav has acknowledged the honesty of the BSP chief by responding to the false allegations of a BJP MLA from Mathura. The BSP party is grateful for this support.
The BSP supremo further said that the party feels that the said BJP MLA has no special identity left in his party. That is why he wants to come in the headlines by making baseless statements against the BSP chief, which is very unfortunate. Mayawati has demanded from the BJP to take strict action against this MLA. She also raised the question that if the MLA is mentally ill, then the BJP should get him treated. Otherwise, it would not be wrong to consider it a conspiracy of the BJP.
Mayawati warned the BJP that if it does not take appropriate action against its MLA, then the public will definitely give its reply by forfeiting the BJP’s deposit in the next assembly elections and also in the upcoming 10 by-elections.
