Italian luxury car company Maserati, which recently started its journey in the Indian market, has officially launched its new SUV Grecale for sale in the market here. The starting price of this SUV, which comes in three different variants, has been fixed at Rs 1.31 crore (ex-showroom). In the market, it competes with Porsche’s famous car Macan, whose price starts from Rs 96.05 lakh. Equipped with attractive looks and powerful engine, this car has many great features. Talking about the exterior, the company’s special signature style statement grill has been given in Grayscale. In which chrome chrome-finish and large size bumper gives it a better look. It has the Maserati logo at the front, which is complemented by twin dual-exhaust tips and an LED headlight setup. It is integrated with integrated daytime running lights (DRL’s). The company has given 19-inch alloy wheel in it.
Power and Performance:
In the base variant GT of Maserati Grecale, the company has given a 4 cylinder turbo petrol engine of 2.0 liter capacity. This engine generates a strong power of 300hp. This engine is mated to 8-speed automatic transmission gearbox. The company claims that this SUV is capable of accelerating from 0 to 100 km/h in just 5.6 seconds. Its top speed is 240 km/hr.
In its mid variant Gracale Modena also, the company has given a 2.0 liter engine which generates power of 330hp. This car takes only 5.3 seconds to accelerate from 0 to 100 km/h. Apart from this, other specifications are the same as the base model GT. However, it has been given limited slip differential and adaptive suspension. In this variant, the company has given 20 inch wheels which come with black highlights instead of chrome.
The engine of the top variant Grecale Trofeo is the most powerful. In this variant, the company has given 3.0 liter V6 turbo-petrol engine. Which generates a strong power of 530hp. The company claims that this variant is capable of accelerating from 0 to 100 km/h in just 3.8 seconds. Electronic limited slip diff is being given as standard in this variant. Apart from this, this top variant has a 21-inch alloy wheel which comes with red highlights on the brake callipers.
How is the cabin:
Every effort has been made to make the cabin of Maserati Grecale premium and luxurious. It has 10-way powered front seats which come with memory function. A 12 inch dual screen has been provided. In which one will be used for infotainment system and the other as digital instrument cluster. Head-up-display (HUD), dual zone climate control and 14 speakers make it even better. Aluminum paddle shifters have also been included in this. In terms of safety, this SUV gets Level-1 Advanced Driving Assistance System (ADAS) suite.
The company says that pre-configured cars are already available to buyers. But if buyers want to customize this car as per their choice then this facility is also available. But buyers will have to wait for about 5 to 8 months for the delivery of the customized model. This delivery time depends on the customization request level.
