In Chennai, Tamil Nadu, police have arrested two people for raping a 14-year-old minor girl. The victim was forcibly pushed into the quagmire of prostitution by her elder sister. Police first arrested six people, including the victim’s sister, mother-in-law and three men. A temple priest is also among the accused. After analyzing the call data records and recovered evidence, the police also arrested two other accused last Friday.

The accused woman started sending these school girls to older men who wanted underage girls. Many of these girls were from Hyderabad and Coimbatore. Following a tip-off, police raided a lodge and rescued the 17 and 18 year old girls.
