It is reported that the two workers who were killed were both residents of Bihar. They were identified as Sunalal Kumar (18 years old) and Dashrat, residents of Rajwahi village in Gopalganj district. Dashrath Kumar (17). Both are construction workers and live in a rented house in the Meitei-dominated Kakching district. Police said the person behind the incident has not yet been identified.
