Mangla Gauri Vrat 2024: Today is the third Mangala Gauri Vrat of Sawan. According to religious scriptures, Mangala Gauri Vrat is observed every year on all Tuesdays falling in the month of Sawan. Like the month of Shravan, the importance of this Mangala Gauri Vrat is considered. This fast is observed to please Goddess Parvati i.e. Gauri. Married women do it because it is associated with happiness and good fortune. If Mangal Dosh is causing problems then worship on this day is beneficial.
Pooja of Maa Mangala Gauri
On the third Tuesday of Sawan, one gets the blessings of Goddess Mangala Gauri by ritually worshiping her. On this day, wake up early in the morning, take bath and wear clean clothes. After this, resolve to fast by taking water in your hand. Then clean the temple and spread a red cloth on a post and install the idols of Goddess Parvati, Bhole Shankar and Ganesh ji.
After this, offer fruits, flowers, sweets etc. to the Goddess. Apply vermilion tilak to Mother Parvati and light a ghee lamp in front of her. Now offer wedding items like red bangles, red bindi, red chunari, mehendi etc. and then listen to the story of the fast. Pray for good luck to Maa Mangala Gauri during the puja.

If your marriage is not happening due to Mangal Dosh or other reasons, then worship Goddess Parvati and Lord Shiva as per the rituals. In worship, chant the miraculous mantra of Mangala Gauri ‘Om Gaurishankaraya Namah’ 108 times. After the puja, offer vermillion at the feet of Mother Gauri and apply its tilak on your forehead. By following this remedy, there are chances of early marriage.
