Man who threatens Salman Khan again demanding Rs 5 crore for information says…

October 21, 2024: The individual who recently threatened Bollywood actor Salman Khan for Rs 5 crore to resolve his gang conflict with Lawrence Bishnoi has now apologized and claimed that the threat was made in error. On Monday, Mumbai Traffic Police received another text message from the same number as in the previous extortion attempt, in which the sender expressed regret and apologized for his actions.

According to authorities, the person’s location has been traced to Jharkhand and a police team has been dispatched to arrest those behind the threat. Earlier, on October 18, the Mumbai Traffic Police received a WhatsApp message asking the actor to pay Rs 5 crore and warning that his fate could be worse than that of recently assassinated NCP leader Baba Siddiq.

The threat message said: “Do not take it lightly. If Salman Khan wants to live and end his feud with Lawrence Bishnoi, he must pay Rs 5 crore. If the money is not paid, Salman’s fate will be Worse than Baba Siddique’s fate.” The sender claimed to be a close associate of Lawrence Bishnoi’s gang and claimed that he could mediate a truce between the actor and the gang.

Strengthening Salman Khan’s security
Salman Khan has faced death threats in recent months, leading to heightened security measures. The actor now has Y+ security and security around his Bandra residence and Panvel farmhouse has been significantly enhanced following the threat. Additionally, Mumbai Police has installed advanced AI-powered CCTV cameras and facial recognition technology to keep a close watch on the area.

Khan’s security has also been beefed up following the assassination of NCP leader Baba Siddiq. The former Maharashtra minister and three-time MLA was shot dead by three gunmen outside his son’s office in Bandra. Despite being rushed to Lilavati Hospital, Siddique was declared dead on arrival. So far, Mumbai police have arrested 10 suspects in connection with the murder.

Salman Khan hints at threat in Bigg Boss 18
In his first public speech since these events, Salman Khan subtly touched on the challenges he faces in his personal life. Khan, who serves as the host of Bigg Boss 18’s Weekend Ka Vaar, admitted that he almost skipped the show due to personal pressure.

“Yaar, qasam khuda ki what am I going through in my life, I have to deal with this (quarrel between housemates)…I feel like I should not be here today. But you have to do what you have to do,” Khan said on social said in a video circulating in the media.
