Man dies after falling from the 16th floor window of the Times Square Hotel: “We heard a collision”

On Saturday morning, a 39 -year -old man died after falling from a 16th floor window at a Midtown Hotel in New York. As new York TimesPolice found a crisis call near West 45th Street and Seventh Avenue around 6:30 am. On arrival, he found the man unanswered on the roof of an adjacent building. He was pronounced dead at the scene. The cause of the decline, whether accidental or intentional, is under investigation.

The victim passed through a window on the 15th floor, where a witness, an Italian tourist, reported the shout coming from the hotel room before the incident. The officers are investigating the circumstances around the death of the man.

“This morning I woke up for some noise, someone was screaming. I heard some woman … shouting that someone needs to come back, because I heard the noise, ‘come back, come back, come back,” the tourist said.

German tourist, Anna Katsarau reported to hear two unusual noises during his stay on the 14th floor of the hotel. The second noise, approximately 15 minutes later, looked like a “Big Table”, which was hitting a surface.

“We heard a collision, almost as if someone fell out of his bed, but it was more loud … and then someone was crying, crying a lot like a woman or a child,” said Ms. Katasura.

“Then someone was crying, ‘Oh my God, Oh My God, Oh My God,’ and then I heard the police,” Ms. Katsarro remembered. He said that the second voice looked like a man, who was also screaming “Auda, Auda”, which translates into “help” in Spanish.
