Major tensions over for Android users, new Google update will stop covert tracking

Google has released a new privacy feature for millions of users around the world. Now Android users will not be able to be secretly tracked. With the arrival of this update, users will be able to pause location updates on their smartphones as per their convenience. This update will give users the freedom to identify and disable hidden trackers. With the help of this feature, hidden tags can be detected through Find My Device.

The company has named this feature “Temporary Pause Location.” Google said in its blog post that users can now pause their device’s location to maintain their privacy. This feature will not update locations on the Find My Device network for the next 24 hours. This way users will not be able to be secretly tracked via Bluetooth trackers.

Google says users can choose to disable unknown Bluetooth trackers. Especially tags used to track someone will be disabled through this feature. Google also explains how to use this feature in its block. Users will be able to access the “Pin Nearby” feature in their Android smartphones.

use it like this

  • To use this feature, users must update their smartphones.
  • After that go to the settings of your phone.
  • Here you will get security and emergency options. Click on it and continue.
  • Then click on “Unknown Tracker Alert”.
  • This way you can see hidden trackers around you.

Google is currently rolling out this feature in phases. In this case, if this update has not reached your phone yet, then you will have to wait for a few days. Soon, your phone will start using this feature too.
