The country’s leading automobile manufacturer Mahindra & Mahindra has expanded its commercial vehicle portfolio by officially launching the new pickup truck model Mahindra VEERO for sale. The company claims that this pickup truck will set new benchmarks in the commercial vehicle segment. Equipped with attractive looks and powerful engines, the new Mahindra Veero has been priced at a starting price of Rs 7.99 lakh (ex-showroom).

In terms of appearance and design, it is similar to a traditional pickup truck. Its length is 4710 (XL) and 4980 (XXL), width is 1746 mm, height is 2040 mm, and wheelbase is 2550 mm. The company claims that its load capacity is 1600 kg.

The company has used the Bolero engine in this pickup truck. It comes with a 1.5-liter 3-cylinder engine. Its engine power is 59.9kW and torque is 210Nm. This engine is paired with a 5-speed synchromesh gearbox.

In Mahindra Veero, the company has provided D2 (two-person seating arrangement including the driver) seating. It has a 10.2-inch touchscreen infotainment system with features like reverse camera. Apart from this, it is also equipped with air conditioning (AC) and heater for the convenience of the driver. The company claims that this pickup truck has a mileage of 18.4 km/l. This means, it is not only modern but also economical. Mahindra offers a warranty of 1 lakh kms or 3 years (whichever comes first) on this pickup truck.
