What did Ravi Shankar Tiwari say?
Ravi Shankar Tiwari said that it is a historical fact that Delhi was destroyed and settled many times. The Yamuna river, which flows to the east of the city, allowed settlement here after the destruction. But today, there is a breakdown in relations between Yamuna and Delhi. For the first time the people of Delhi started forgetting their Yamuna. That’s why the capital’s lifeline has become blurred. Ecologically speaking, Yamuna is dead.
Only by saving Yamuna can Delhi be saved – Ravi Shankar
Ravi Shankar Tiwari said that only when Yamuna is saved, Delhi can be saved and we will be saved. He further said that next year I myself will personally go door to door as the Bhai Dooj Yamuna 2025 monk. I will take the pain of Yamuna to every house in the entire Braj region, including the National Capital Region of Delhi. I will involve all of your bodies, minds and wealth in the purification of Yamuna Mahayana.
