SUVIDHA app helps in this way
With real-time reporting of seizures through ECI’s Election Sequestration Management System (ESMS), committees and agencies can conduct regular, accurate reviews of expenditure monitoring. 110 assembly constituencies in 91 states of Maharashtra and 19 states of Jharkhand are also being closely monitored and these have been identified as expenditure-sensitive constituencies for more targeted monitoring.
The Electoral Commission takes a strict stance against voter inducement and ensures that legitimate demands of political parties are responded to in a transparent manner to ensure a level playing field. In this regard, SUVIDHA app provides a lot of help to political parties and candidates. 18,045 election petitions were approved, including 8546 in Maharashtra and 6317 in Jharkhand.
