The allocation of ministerial posts was done on Saturday amid an ongoing tug-of-war between leaders of Mahayutty’s allies the BJP, Shiv Sena and NCP over Maharashtra ministerial posts . CM Devendra Fadnavis retained the important home ministry. At the same time, Fadnavis also retained the ministries of energy, law and justice, general affairs and information and publicity.
On the other hand, Deputy Chief Minister Eknath Shinde has been assigned the Ministry of Urban Development, Housing and Public Works (Public Enterprises). Meanwhile, additional deputy chief minister Ajit Pawar has been appointed to take charge of finance and planning and state excise.

Let us tell you, Mahayutthi won in the Maharashtra Assembly. Devendra Fadnavis won 230 seats and became chief minister, with Ajit Pawar and Eknath Shinde becoming deputy chief ministers along with him. On December 15, 39 ministers were sworn in. Among them, there are 33 cabinet ministers and 6 state ministers.
