Maharashtra elections: Sharad Pawar’s faction, NCP releases fourth list, son’s ticket to replace Anil Deshmukh in Kattor

Sharad Chandra Pawar-led party NCP has announced its fourth list of candidates for the Maharashtra assembly elections. A total of 7 candidates were announced in this list. The candidates for Cattor changed in this list. Salil Deshmukh has now been announced as the candidate from Kattor. So far, the party has announced candidates for 82 seats.

On October 24, the party announced the first list of 45 candidates from the Sharad Pawar faction. After that, 22 candidates were announced on the 26th. Soon after, on October 27, the third batch of nine candidates was announced. Since then, the fourth batch of seven candidates was announced today.

The NCP Sharad Pawar faction has so far announced candidates for 83 seats in the assembly elections. However, the candidate for one of the seats has changed. When the party released its first list, there were 45 candidates named. Since then, candidates have been announced for 22 seats in the second list and nine seats in the third list. The party has now fielded candidates for seven more seats.

Earlier, former home minister Anil Deshmukh was announced as the candidate for the seat, but now there is a slight change. Now, the party has fielded Anil Deshmukh’s son Salil Deshmukh as its candidate.
