Ahead of the Maharashtra Assembly elections, the math of the alliance has begun to settle. Seat-sharing talks between Eknath Shinde-led Shiv Sena and Ajit Pawar-led Nationalist Congress Party (NCP) have entered In the final phase, the party was part of a grand alliance led by the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP). Sambhaji, a descendant of Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj, also invited Maratha reservation movement leader Manoj Jarange Patil Patil) and Prakash Ambedkar of Vanchit Bahujan Aghadi (VBA) in this third alliance. Now that the Third Alliance has entered the Maharashtra election, the discussion begins about who benefits and who loses? While announcing the formation of Parivartan Mahashakti, Sambhaji Raj Chhatrapati also said that we should not ensure that someone loses in elections but should work towards making our candidates win, in order to raise the concerns of the people in Parliament. Sambhaji talks about working towards victory but if three angles are formed then obviously someone will gain and someone will lose.
Who will benefit from the third perspective?
The formation of the Parivartan superpower increased the difficulties of the Mahayuti and MVA alliance. If Manoj Jaranj Patil also supports this alliance and Prakash Ambedkar’s party joins it, it could become an issue for the opposition MVA. If we look at the recent Lok Sabha election results, out of the 46 assembly seats in Marathwada region, MVA party candidates were leading in 31 seats. Meanwhile, farmer leader Raju Shetty’s influence is more concentrated in western Maharashtra.

Talking about Western Maharashtra, the recent Lok Sabha elections saw a fierce fight between the MVA and the Mahayuti alliance. Western Maharashtra has 70 assembly seats and MVA candidates are leading in 35 of them. Mahayuti candidates also managed to lead in 30 seats.
