From the Prime Minister to other BJP leaders, no one said anything. The entire Jharkhand election revolved around only one issue, infiltration, but the people of Jharkhand have given their answer. This sends a positive message to the country.
Congress says level playing field has been destroyed
The Congress said there was no doubt that the level playing field was targeted and undermined as far as Maharashtra was concerned. The election results came, and they were unexpected. We also had a surprise. Many people are analyzing that development has won. The agenda we set in the Lok Sabha remains of the same importance even today and will remain so in the future.
Ramesh further said that issues such as caste census, 50% reservation limit, Adani scam, etc. will still exist. The people of Maharashtra did not reject it. We will investigate and analyze how this result arises. Even those who won had no idea this would happen. We know that farmers in Maharashtra are angry and the working class is against the government and we still assume the same. The result is exactly the opposite. We will continue to raise the issues we raise both inside and outside Parliament.
Jairam Ramesh said we have received push but we will not back down on the issue.
The Congress leader said that we are getting a push in Maharashtra, which is absolutely true, but the push has been given. There is some conspiracy behind defeating us. One thing is for sure, the Congress agenda will not change. We will continue to raise the social and economic issues we have always raised in the future. We will continue to take all necessary steps to protect the Constitution.
Some people say that development is victory, but we understand that the knowledge they gain is not language before the results. Our courage has not diminished. We may fail, but failure is still victory. We will do whatever is needed in the organization. Talks will be held between the Congress president and national leaders in the coming days.
“The election committee is only busy reciting poems”
Meanwhile, Congress leader Pawan Kheda said that we will repeatedly tell the Election Commission that no strong answer has been given so far except poetry. We raised the issue of Pune electoral list. We raised questions about EVM batteries, but there was no reply from the Election Commission. We have also made submissions in Haryana on how to increase vote share. There was no reply to this. After the election, turnout increases.
Pawan Kheda said that EVM was found in the car of a BJP leader in Nagpur the day before yesterday, but the Election Commission also remained silent on this. So as the largest political party in the country, we feel it’s our responsibility to raise all of these issues. We care about democracy. We also accept the responsibility to conduct transparent elections.
