Congress party is making a play for Maharashtra elections
Maharashtra elections have become a question of political future with Congress gearing up to field important faces including Rahul Gandhi, Malikajon Kalagh and Priyanka Gandhi in the last 5 days These leaders plan to hold 75 rally roadshows. Among them, there are about 20 programs produced by the three big leaders.
Rahul Gandhi will hold 6 meetings in Marathwada, Western Maharashtra and North Maharashtra, while Priyanka is scheduled to meet in Wayanad on November 13 Four meetings were held in the state after the polls. Apart from the three top leaders of the Congress, Sachin Pilot and Imran Pratapgarhi are most in demand in Maharashtra. Plans are also being finalized for a major joint meeting between Congress supremo Shiv Sena Uddhav and NCP Sharad Pawar to be held in Mumbai on November 17.
