Maharashtra Congress leader Nana Patole
After the Maharashtra assembly elections, conflicts within the party came to the fore. Show cause notices have also been issued to former NSUI president Suraj Singh Thakur and Youth Congress leader Chandresh Dubey in response to Congress candidate and Mumbai Chandivali Assembly constituency working president Naseem Khan’s complaint after the election defeat. Surprisingly, the notice was issued on October 24, a month before the election, but these leaders have now received information about it through newspapers. Suraj himself has made this claim.
Responding to the allegations against him, Suraj wrote that the candidate was not a worker of “Naseem Khan Private Limited” but of the Congress party and Rahul Gandhi. In his letter, he claimed that Naseem Khan himself had campaigned against Varsha Gaikwad and Priya Dutt in the Lok Sabha elections.
Suraj Singh Thakur makes serious accusations
Meanwhile, Suraj Singh Thakur claims that Naseem Khan served as MP for 20 years (1999-2019) but was not elected from Congress Corporate member. Not only this, Suraj claimed that he was an aspirant among the Congress candidates and hence Naseem Khan accused him of anti-party work as part of the conspiracy.
He has since received a notification as part of a conspiracy, which he suspects may not even be known to senior leaders. However, Naseem Khan lost the election. After this, Suraj wrote a letter to Nana and replied. Suraj Thakur is a member of AICC and President of NSUI Maharashtra.
Also wrote a letter to Nata Patole
Suraj Thakur is also reported to have written a letter to Maharashtra Congress president Nana Patole regarding such differences among party leaders. In his letter, he claimed that he had been deliberately accused of anti-party work and was therefore unable to run.
