Maharashtra’s cash scandal has taken a new twist. An FIR has been registered against Nalasopara candidate Kshitij Thakur, son of Hitendra Thakur. He was accused of assaulting Shiv Sena (Shindhi) leader Sudesh Chaudhary. The Vinod Tad cash scandal could spell more trouble for the Thakur family. Sudesh Chaudhary has lodged FIRs against 200 to 250 people, including Kshitij Thakur, Prateek Thakur.

Shiv Sena (Shindhi) leader Sudesh Chaudhary claimed that he went to meet the BJP general secretary Vinod Tawde. A personal rivalry was resolved by accusing him of distributing money. During this time, he was beaten. Based on Sudesh’s complaint, action was taken against Kshitij Thakur under sections 118 (1), 189 (2), 189 (3) and 115 of BNS. The FIR has been registered at Thuringi police station.
