In the case of beating up an old man on suspicion of beef in Maharashtra, the police has shown strictness and added two more sections. Thane police has added in this case intentionally using words to hurt the religious feelings of another person (Section 302 of BNS) and using deadly weapon or causing serious injury to a person while committing robbery or dacoity (Section 311 of BNS). If found guilty in these cases, the minimum punishment is 7 years.

Let us tell you that in this case, the court had granted unconditional bail to the accused of attacking a 72-year-old man. After this, the police had demanded cancellation of bail and after this application, the court had ordered cancellation of bail. After the order, the investigating officer got permission to arrest the 3 accused who were out on bail.

These problems arose after the fight

When Aaj Tak’s team went to talk to Mohammad Ashraf Ali Hussain (72), an elderly man from Jalgaon who was attacked in the Dhule-Mumbai Express, he said, “After some people attacked him in the train, he suffered a serious injury to his eye. He suffered an injury to his urinary tract and problems related to the nervous system.”

‘Bail to the accused is injustice to me’

Talking to Aaj Tak, Mohammad Ashraf Ali said, ‘The accused arrested in the case got bail. This is injustice to me and I demand justice. I cannot see properly with my eyes. Blood is coming from my urinary tract, they kicked me there. I cannot talk much. I have pain in my chest. I have faith in the courts of India and I will get justice. What happened to me should not happen to anyone else.
