According to Siswa MLA, Executive Officer Shailendra Gupta flouting the rules did not file the counter in favor of the government, in the same order the administration issued a show cause notice holding the EO guilty. It is alleged that the executive officer did not take the government’s side and put the opposition’s side against the government.

The allegation is also that the Executive Officer arbitrarily sent Class IV employee Anil Gupta to the High Court to advocate against the government. When there was objection regarding this, the EO suspended the Class IV employee with immediate effect on July 8. Later the suspension order was also withdrawn. Then the Class IV employee was sent to the High Court for advocacy. He was suspended again and a show cause notice was issued.

After investigation, Anuj Kumar Jha, Director of Municipal Corporation Directorate, on July 30, booked the Executive Officer of Siswa Municipality, Shailendra Gupta, on charges of arbitrarily working without taking interest in following the instructions given by the higher officials and adopting illegal working practices with immediate effect. Suspended.

During the suspension period, the Executive Officer has been attached to the District Magistrate’s office. To conduct departmental action, the government has named Ajay Kumar Tripathi, assistant director of the Municipal Corporation Directorate, as the investigating officer who will investigate the case.

In this case, District Magistrate Anunay Jha said that after the power of Siswa Municipality Chairman was seized, the Municipal Corporation Chairman has filed a case in the court. In this matter, the EO was to present his case on behalf of the Municipality but the Executive Officer has been negligent in discharging his responsibilities by sending a class IV employee in his place.
