Police have arrested a fake sub-inspector from Lucknow, Uttar Pradesh. It is alleged that he used to wear the sub-inspector’s uniform and watch movies for free in multiplexes and also eat free food at dhabas. Police have recovered fake police ID card and other items from the arrested fake sub-inspector. Police say that further action is being taken in the case.
According to the information, the name of the fake sub-inspector is Romil Singh and he is a resident of Bahraich. During police interrogation, he told that he was interested in joining the police, but he could not become a police officer. After this, he became a sub-inspector from Charbagh, Lucknow, wearing a police uniform and star. He also got a fake police ID card printed.

Free movies at multiplexes, free food at restaurants
After this, he used to watch movies for free in different multiplexes of Lucknow by posing as a sub-inspector. Not only this, he used to eat for free at dhabas. One day he ate food at a dhaba and did not pay. On suspicion, the dhaba owner called the police. During police interrogation, the accused person told that he is a resident of Bahraich and is posted in Barabanki. He also showed the card.

After this, the PNO number was checked on the website, in which the person turned out to be a fake sub-inspector. Also, when the station in-charge of his place of posting was contacted, it was also found out that he was lying. According to DCP East Shashank Singh, Romil Singh used to fool people by posing as a fake sub-inspector, after which he was arrested and sent to jail.
