LTIMINDTREE LTD appointed former Randstad Digital CEO Venugopal Lambu as CEO Debashis Chatterjee on Friday, succeeding the company’s CEO since its inception in 2022.
Although the country’s sixth-largest information technology (IT) services company has yet to assign an official date for Lambu to take over, he has been elected as CEO for five years, with his term set to end in January 2030.
The former Randstad digital executive has also been elected to the LTIMINDTREE board of directors. He will live in London.
This won’t be Lambu’s first job at the Mumbai-based company. He worked at Mindtree Ltd in 2020 and then with Ltimindtree until January 2023, before taking over as CEO of Netherlands-based digital marketing company Randstad Digital.

Ltimindtree was formed following a hostile bid for Mindtree in 2019 from financial services group Larsen & Toubro Group. L&T merged its IT services arm L&T Infotech with Mindtree, effective November 11, 2022.
