During the discussion on the Constitution in the Union House, Union Home Minister Amit Shah lashed out at the opposition and questioned the Congress’ love slogans. Shah said love is not something that can be sold but is an emotion that can only be felt. He said that those who claim to open love shops are commercializing love, and true love is reflected through dedication and service to the country.
Referring to the resolutions passed by Prime Minister Narendra Modi under the leadership of Independent Party leader Amrit Mahotsav, Shah said these resolutions have now become the resolutions of every citizen of the country. Highlighting the efforts of the BJP government in giving a new direction to the country, he said that this government does not just believe in slogans but in serving the public. Furthermore, he took a dig at the opposition and said that change cannot be achieved through speeches but must be done with passion and determination.

During this period, Union Home Minister Amit Shah also strongly attacked the Congress and its historic decision. He stressed the importance of protecting authoritarian tendencies and democracy and said children should be taught how to deal with dictators. Talking about the Emergency, Shah said the Congress played games with the judiciary at that time. In this regard, he also cited the Kesavanand Bharti case as an example.
People put ‘Veer’ in front of Savarkar’s name – Shah
Following this, Amit Shah condemned the Congress leader’s remarks against Veer Savarkar. “It was the public and not the government that added ‘veer’ before Savarkar’s name,” he said. Shah said Savarkar was the only person to be sentenced to life imprisonment twice during the freedom struggle from 1857 to 1947. people.
Removed 370 Shah needs “Iron Liver”
Shah also launched a scathing attack on the Congress over Article 370 and Dr. Ambedkar. He said that deleting 370 articles required an “iron liver”. It was over in one fell swoop, right here in this house. Shah said that after 31 years, there is now an atmosphere of drama, racing and peace in Kashmir. Talking about Ambedkar, Shah said that despite a letter from the Mumbai mayor, the Nehru government refused to build an Ambedkar memorial in Mauritius. This exposed the Congress’ thinking towards Ambedkar.
