“Lost money in the transaction…” Worried father, mother and two sons ran away from home and found out the situation two months later

A woman and her two sons who went missing from their home in Maharashtra’s Thane district two months ago have been found in Uttar Pradesh. Senior inspector Rahul Rakha said Sujata Mithlesh Choudhary (40) and her sons Abhijeet (22) and Aditya (19) went missing from their home in Mira Road area in August.

He said that after the woman went missing, the woman’s husband reported the case to the Kashmir police station. During the course of investigation, the police received several technical and intelligence inputs and the three were traced to Varanasi, the officer said. Investigation revealed that both sons suffered losses in stock market transactions and decided to run away from home due to fear of the consequences. He said that now the family is reunited.

This year, an engineering student was kidnapped and later murdered in Pune, Maharashtra. The police said that the accused had decided to kill the student after getting the ransom. Investigation revealed that Shivam Phulawale, the main accused in the incident, had lost a lot of money in the stock market. He was heavily in debt. Another defendant lost a lot of money playing rummy online. The main accused Shivam Phulavale was a college friend of the deceased student.

Shivam, along with Suresh Indure and Sagar Jadhav, kidnapped the student on March 30 from Pune’s Viman Nagar area. The student died within hours of the abduction. The defendant taped his mouth and nose shut. When the student protested, one of the accused covered her mouth, causing her death, police said.
