Looteri Dulhan gang exposed in Indore, they used to dupe people in the name of marriage

Indore Police of Madhya Pradesh has busted the looteri dulhan gang. Police has arrested four people including three women. All four are residents of Indore. A police officer said that more such cases are expected to come to light during the investigation. Further action is being taken in the matter.

According to the police, four people, including three women, were arrested on Tuesday for allegedly robbing men through fake marriages. The accused have been identified as bride Varsha (27), Rekha Sharma (40), Sunita alias Basanti (45) and Vijay Kataria (55).

All four accused are residents of Indore

Additional Deputy Commissioner of Police Rajesh Dandotia said that all the four accused are residents of Indore. The accused had allegedly arranged Varsha’s marriage to two men, one of whom was from Maharashtra and the other from Rajasthan. Each time she would steal jewellery and cash from the groom and disappear. She was introduced to both the men under false names.

More such cases are expected to emerge

Actually Varsha used to meet him posing as a bride. Apart from this, Rekha Sharma, Sunita alias Basanti and Vijay Kataria used to meet her posing as family members. After this, Varsha was married. Then all of them used to steal jewelry and cash from the groom and disappear. The officer said that more such cases are expected to come to light during the investigation.
