Police have arrested 4 more accused involved in Sultanpur robbery case. On their information, jewelry worth about 2 crores looted from the jewelry shop has also been recovered. According to sources, during interrogation, the accused told that the conspiracy of this case was hatched in room number 404 of ITI colony of Raebareli district.

Amethi resident Vipin Singh, who is the mastermind of the robbery, stayed in this room with his companions for about a month. It is being told that after the robbery, the money was also distributed in this room number 404.

After the revelation, people living around this room told that some boys used to live here. They did not talk to anyone much. They used to come and go in a four wheeler. Yesterday, the police came and searched the room, which left the people of the locality stunned. They cannot believe that such a big incident is also connected to their colony.

After the Sultanpur incident, Pushpendra Singh, Sachin Singh and Tribhuvan were arrested during an encounter on September 3. On September 5, Mangesh Yadav of Jaunpur was killed in an encounter by the STF. Now the police has got another big success. The police have arrested the accused named Durgesh, Arvind, Vivek and Vinay Shukla. Many items including gold jewellery worth about two crores, ultra-modern weapons have been recovered from them.

It is worth mentioning that Vipin Singh, who is said to be the mastermind of the crime, has surrendered in the Raebareli court, after which the Sultanpur police took him on 5-day remand. According to the police, these four accused were arrested on the basis of Vipin’s information.

Let us tell you that on August 28, five miscreants riding on two bikes carried out a robbery at Bharat Ji Soni’s jewellery shop in Thatheri Bazar of Sultanpur Nagar Kotwali area. The police had made more than a dozen people accused in this case.

Meanwhile, the Human Rights Commission has taken cognizance of the Mangesh Yadav encounter case. The State Human Rights Commission has ordered an inquiry into the matter. The commission has asked the Sultanpur DM to investigate and submit a report. The Sultanpur DM will have to submit his report to the state by September 27. The case will be heard on September 30.
