Israel has declared a state of emergency in the country after a horrific attack on Hezbollah. A “special rear situation” has been announced nationwide with a deadline of September 30. This occurs when civilians are more likely to be attacked. At the same time, it was also revealed that senior Hezbollah commander Ali Karaki was killed in an Israeli attack. However, this news has not yet been officially confirmed.

An attack by Israeli forces earlier Monday prompted strong protests from Hezbollah fighters. Israeli attacks in southern Lebanon killed 274 people and reportedly injured 1,024 others. These included large numbers of children, women and doctors. The number of children was 21 and the number of women was 39. The Israeli army claimed to have bombed approximately 300 Hezbollah positions in Lebanon at the same time.

Meanwhile, Lebanese people were warned to leave their homes and buildings immediately. According to Lebanese officials, the country has received more than 80,000 suspicious Israeli calls. Among them, people were asked to vacate their homes. Imad Kreideh, head of telecommunications company Ogero, confirmed this and said such calls were like a psychological war aimed at causing destruction and chaos.

Earlier on Sunday, Hezbollah carried out harsh attacks on Israel. It was reported that Hezbollah fired more than 100 rockets, missiles and drones into northern Israel early on Sunday, followed by chaos in the area. Following these attacks, the Israel Defense Forces said Hezbollah continued to target its people. On Sunday morning, more than 140 rockets and drones were fired into the Jezreel Valley.

Since then, alerts have been issued near Haifa, Ramat David Airport, Nazareth, Afula, Lower Galilee and other military bases. “Hezbollah’s terrorism targets our civilians,” the IDF wrote on One X. Thousands of Israelis spent the night hiding in shelters. A hail of rockets passed over their heads. Some even fell on their houses. Rocket warning sirens sounded continuously throughout the night.
