Discussions of gang wars have intensified following a number of such incidents in Delhi over the past few weeks.
Discussions of gang war in the capital have once again intensified following the shooting in Drimundka area. There have been daily incidents of sackings and extortion in the capital over the past few weeks. One day earlier on Saturday, someone was shot and killed in the Mundka area. The incident was committed by bike-borne miscreants. About 6 rounds were fired. The deceased was identified as Amit, who was recently released from Tihar jail after being lodged in a robbery case. Amit is believed to have been murdered as a result of a gang war.
A day after the Mundka incident, some gangsters shot dead two people in Mukundpur area on Sunday. Regarding the incident, the family said that more than six people attacked and opened fire. The police are currently busy investigating the incident. According to sources, the police are investigating the incident from multiple angles. In addition to mutual competition, an investigation into gang warfare has also been launched. With daily shooting incidents in Delhi, there is an atmosphere of panic among the people.
An attempt to establish a criminal empire in North India
The latest phase of Delhi’s gang war is many times more dangerous than its predecessors because it is believed that this time the conflict is not about revenge for personal vendettas. This time, the criminal gangs want to eliminate each other and build a criminal empire in North India. In this gang war, each small gang has elected its own master. On one side is Lawrence Bishnoi’s network, which includes Sandeep alias Kala Jahidi, Kapil Sangwan alias Nandu, Rohit Moi, Tewa Gangs such as Tiya Prince, Rajesh Bhavania and their followers, while on the other side are the Bambihar gangs, which include Punjab, Haryana, Rajasthan and Delhi, including those associated with Lawrence and his gang network Hostile gangs.
Fire breaks out at Nangloi plywood showroom
On November 4, a shooting incident occurred at a plywood showroom just 50 meters away from the main road, shaking the Nangloi area of West Delhi. When three men on scooters arrived, they looked like they might be customers, but once inside the plywood showroom, without fear or hesitation, the three men pulled out their pistols and started shooting.
The three people who fired the shots covered their mouths with cloths. It’s hard to guess his appearance and age, but what is certain is that whoever he is, he is not afraid of the police or people walking on the road. Judging from the way the bullets were fired, these three gangsters were not here to kill anyone. After firing eight bullets, the gangster threw a piece of paper and walked away peacefully. His purpose was written on a piece of paper he left in the plywood showroom. The purpose of the note was to extort Rs 10 crore and the name – Jitendra Gogi Gang – was written on the note.
Shooting breaks out at real estate dealer’s office in Alipore
As soon as the gunfire from Gogi’s followers stopped in Nagloi, the same fear spread to Alipur in north Delhi, 22 kilometers away. This time, the gangsters targeted the office of a real estate dealer in Alipur. Like Nagloi, in Alipore the gangsters opened fire not to kill anyone but to send a message: Otherwise you will be killed. The miscreants did not leave any trace in Alipur. He called the real estate dealer and demanded extortion money.
The firing method of Nangloi and Alipore is the same. The purpose is the same. The gangsters challenged the Delhi Police to extort money from the businessmen. Investigations by the Delhi Police Crime Branch revealed that both Alipur and Nangloi had followers in the same gang. The Gogi gang was involved in the shooting incidents in Alipur and Nangloi.
Lawrence Bishnoi on one side and the Bambiha Gang on the other
Delhi’s ‘Gogi’ gang refers to Lawrence Bishnoi, who runs his network from Sabarmati jail. It is believed that the Gogi gang now operates with Lawrence’s blessing. The Nangloi and Alipur incidents have added to the headache for the Delhi Police. This is a sign that Delhi’s gang war has begun. A gang war between Lawrence Bishnoi’s gang and Lawrence’s biggest enemy, the Bambiha gang. The Bambiha gang also fired the first bullet in Delhi’s gang war.
On October 26, criminals opened fire indiscriminately at the house of a businessman in the Rani Bagh area of West Delhi. The gangster had no intention of killing anyone. So, after firing the bullets, they threw a note. Along with the extortion amount, the note also contained the name of the gang: Kaushal Chaudhary, Bambiha Gang.
Like Lawrence Bishnoi, Kaushal Chaudhary is in jail.
Even before threatening to extort businessmen in Rani Bagh, gangsters of Kaushal Chaudhry and Bambihar gang had created many such incidents to spread terror among traders in Delhi. Like Lawrence Bishnoi, Kaushal Chaudhary is in jail. He runs his gang from Bundesi Jail in Gurgaon. After challenging Lawrence Bishnoi gang in Haryana, Rajasthan and Punjab, Kaushal Chaudhry targeted Delhi and then in response to the same, Lawrence’s associate Gogi gang activated its operatives . The message is very clear, the war for supremacy between Lawrence Bishnoi and the Bambihar gang has now begun in Delhi. Today, Kaushal Choudhary commands the Bambiha gang.
The feud between Lawrence and Bambihar reminds the people of Delhi, especially those in west and north Delhi, of the era 30 years ago. At that time, the gang war started in Najafgarh, southwest Delhi. At that time, the struggle for supremacy was going on in Najafgarh between the Balaj-Anup duo and Krishna Pedhawan. More than 50 people were killed in a gang war between two gangs over a piece of land. Balraj was murdered in 1998 and Anoop in 2003 while in police custody. After the two men’s deaths, it was believed that Derry’s gang war would end, but it did not happen. Balaji and Anup’s followers formed a new gang. Many newcomers from the criminal world are also ready to scare Derry.
Former Najafgarh MLA murdered in 2015
March 29, 2015 is a day that has been etched forever in Delhi’s crime chart. Former Najafgarh MLA Bharat Singh set out from his home to attend a religious event that day. Eight people opened fire indiscriminately on the Najafgarh-Bahadurgarh highway, resulting in the death of Bharat Singh.
The murder of former MP Bharat Singh is also believed to be the result of the gang war that broke out between Delhi’s Balraj Anup and Krishna Pedhavan. Bharat Singh was the brother of Krishna Pedhavan. When the police caught the accused, it was discovered that the father, uncle and brother of Udayveer, also known as Kale, the mastermind of the murder, had been murdered in 2002. Krishna Pedhavan is the mastermind behind the murder. There is also a land dispute with Krishna Pehalwan’s brother Bharat Singh. This is why Bharat Singh was murdered.
Kill someone for a trivial matter and then gang up to take revenge
The stories of all the gangs or gangsters that have emerged in Delhi over the past 30 years are similar. When a murder occurs over petty anger, a gang is formed to exact revenge. Neeraj of Bawana got involved in gangsterism in pursuit of dominance in the area, became an associate of a gangster after being imprisoned, and later started running his own gang. When a fight for supremacy breaks out in the student union elections of Delhi’s Shraddhanand College, a gang war breaks out between Jitendra Mann alias Gogi and Sunil alias Tillu Tajpuria.
