Voting for the 2024 Lok Sabha elections will be held in the country in seven phases from April 19, 2024 to June 1, 2024. The election results for 543 seats will be announced on June 4, 2024. In this election, the NDA alliance led by the Bharatiya Janata Party won 292 seats, easily gaining a majority. Meanwhile, India’s opposition alliance won 234 seats. Other parties gained 17 seats. Talking about the parties that won the most seats, the BJP won 240 seats, Congress won 99 seats, Samajwadi Party won 37 seats, Trinamool Congress won 29 seats, DMK won 22 seats, TDP Winning 16 seats, JDU won 12 seats.
Haryana assembly elections
The Haryana assembly elections 2024 were held on October 5 and 90 seats were elected. The results of the election were announced on October 8, with the Bharatiya Janata Party taking power in the state for the third consecutive time. The Bharatiya Janata Party won 48 seats in the election, gaining an absolute majority. The Congress won 37 seats. Meanwhile, the INLD won two seats and three independents also won elections.
jammu and kashmir assembly elections
About a decade later, the Union Territory of Jammu and Kashmir held assembly elections. Voting will be held in three phases in the state on September 18, September 25 and October 1. Meanwhile, the election results were announced on October 8. The National Convention and Congress alliance won the election. In the 90-seat election, 42 seats were held by the Congress, 29 seats by the BJP, 6 seats by the Congress Party, 3 seats by the People’s Democratic Party, 1 seat by the JPC, 1 seat by the CPIM and 1 seat by the AAP. While independent candidates won 7 seats.
Maharashtra Assembly Elections
Maharashtra held elections for 288 assembly seats on November 20. Meanwhile, the election results were announced on November 23. In the assembly elections, the grand alliance member Bharatiya Janata Party won 132 seats, the National Congress won 41 seats and the Shiv Sena 57 seats (230 in total). The Alliance won an overwhelming majority. Meanwhile, Mahavikas Aghadi’s Shiv Sena (UBT) won 20 seats, Congress 16 and NCP (Sharad Chandra Pawar) 10 (total 46). The remaining 12 seats have been won by other parties or independent candidates.
Jharkhand assembly elections
Jharkhand held elections for 81 assembly seats in two phases on November 13 and November 20, 2024. The election results were announced on November 23. An alliance of JMM, Congress and RJD won the election. JMM has 34 seats, BJP 21 seats, Congress 16 seats, RJD 4 seats, CPI (ML) (L) 2 seats, AJSU 1 seat, LJP Ram Vilas 1 seat, JLKM 1 seat and JDU 1 seat.
