Kunal Kamra vs Bhavish Agarwal: Comedian Kunal Kamra once again takes a swipe at Bhavish Kumar’s Ola Electric, proving that the electric vehicle (EV) maker’s issues are a ‘public issue’ “.

On October 21, Kamra posted on social media platform X (formerly Twitter) outlining the reasons why OLA is a public issue. He added: “1) The company is fooling the public. 2) The company receives public funds. 3) The company is publicly traded.”

Viral post claims to post bodyguards at Ola service center

The war of words on social media took a new turn last week when Kamra mocked the company for allegedly “employing bodyguards” at its service centres. Kamra retweeted X user RJ Kashyap, who claimed that Ola deployed “five to six” bodyguards at their centres.

This sparked further criticism of the company online. Kashyap posted, “Ola has now recruited about 5-6 bouncers in each service center…I just visited a nearby ola service center and saw all the bouncers there arguing with ola customers and even women customers…so this We will provide such services [sic]”.

In response, Kamra retweeted the tweet, mocking it as a “unique” situation. “Reporters please verify this. If true, this is indeed unique – the sales team is responsible for sales and the bodyguards are responsible for after-sales service [sic],” Kamla posted.

Agarwal comes under heavy criticism for ‘rude, arrogant, ignorant’ comments

After Aggrwal responded positively to Kamra’s initial post, netizens and customers of the company accused him of “rude…arrogant…ignorant…” responses.

The feud started after Agarwal lashed out at Kamla for criticizing the way Ola’s electric scooters were placed outside what appeared to be an Ola dealership. Agarwal said that if Kamla cared so much about the scooters, he would be happy to pay him to help the company, and if not, the Ola CEO urged Kamla to “shut up” and let Ola address the “real customers” question” .

However, the issue sparked a series of posts, with each exchange escalating the “feud” between Agarwal and Kamla and turning “ugly” as netizens watched and commented.

Overall, the reaction to Agarwal’s spat with Kamla was heavily in favor of the latter, with many claiming to be Ola customers and supporting the comedian’s post. Many netizens also criticized Agarwal for his rude attitude in responding to complaints.
