Kolkata Junior Doctor Rape Murder Case: In the Kolkata rape and murder case, the CBI is questioning the then principal of the medical college for the sixth consecutive day on Wednesday. The role of the former principal is also under question. Therefore, the CBI wants to thoroughly investigate all aspects of the serious incident from Sandeep Ghosh.

Now questions are mounting on Sandeep Ghosh
Sandip Ghosh is the former principal of Kolkata’s RG Kar Medical College. He also visited the CBI office on Wednesday but is still silent. The principal of the same hospital where the doctor was brutally murdered after rape, Sandip Ghosh is now facing questions.

The Supreme Court also asked questions to the government
This is the grip of the investigating agency CBI. Which has been questioning Sandeep Ghosh continuously for 6 days. The second grip is of the Supreme Court. Just a day ago, the court asked many important questions to the West Bengal government regarding Sandeep Ghosh. The CBI is constantly keeping a close watch on the serious questions raised by the Supreme Court on Tuesday.

Four questions to suspect Sandip Ghosh
The investigating agency wants to know many important facts in the rape and murder case of a junior female doctor. Because Sandeep Ghosh was the principal of RG Kar Medical College at the time of the incident. His role seems suspicious. There is a difference between his words and actions. Therefore, the CBI has so far tightened the noose around Sandeep Ghosh through 4 important questions.

  • First question – What did you do after getting information about the incident?
  • Second question – Who all did you talk to after the incident?
  • Third question – Why were the family members made to wait for 3 hours for the victim’s dead body?
  • Fourth question – On whose advice were orders given for renovation near the seminar hall?

With these important questions, the CBI is questioning Ghosh for the sixth consecutive day on Wednesday. But according to CBI sources, some of the statements recorded by the former principal do not match the statements of other people. Therefore, the suspicion has deepened. Now the investigating agency is also investigating his call details and chat details. A day earlier, the Supreme Court heard the case and posed a volley of questions to the West Bengal government. The court asked-

  • Question no.1- Did the principal call the murder a suicide?
  • Question no.2- Were the parents not allowed to meet for three hours?
  • Question no. 3- Why was there a delay in filing an FIR in the rape and murder case?
  • Question no. 4- What was the principal of the medical college doing after the incident?
  • Question No. 5- Why was the then Principal made to join another college?

Status report will have to be given on 22 August
The CBI team present in Kolkata is busy in finding answers to the questions asked by the Supreme Court to the West Bengal government. The investigation of the case is ongoing. The status report will also be submitted to the Supreme Court on August 22.

The family says that first an attempt was made to pass off the murder as a suicide, even the evidence was tampered with. Bengal government also reprimanded
After the murder, the family was kept in the dark by the medical college administration. The question is why the medical college principal Sandip Ghosh tried to suppress such a serious matter as rape and murder. When the Kolkata incident was heard in the Supreme Court, questions were raised on the then principal of the medical college Sandip Ghosh, the violence that took place on the intervening night of 14-15 August and the investigation methods of the Kolkata Police. The Supreme Court has also reprimanded the Bengal government.

Ghosh accused of selling unclaimed bodies
A big allegation has been leveled against Sandeep Ghosh during the CBI investigation. In an exclusive conversation with India Today, Akhtar Ali, former deputy superintendent of RG Kar Medical College, has claimed that Sandeep Ghosh was involved in many illegal activities including selling unclaimed bodies. He also alleged that Ghosh was involved in smuggling of biomedical waste and medical equipment to Bangladesh.

No action was taken against Sandeep Ghosh
Akhtar Ali was posted at RG Kar Hospital till 2023. He said that a complaint was also made regarding this before the State Vigilance Commission. But despite being found guilty in the investigation, no action was taken against the former principal.

Ghosh was transferred after the complaint
Akhtar Ali claimed that he had also sent an inquiry report against Dr. Sandeep Ghosh to the state health department, but after this he was transferred from the hospital by doing RG. He said, ‘The day I submitted the inquiry report, I was transferred. The other two members of the inquiry committee were also transferred. I did whatever I could to save the students from this man, but I failed.’

Sandeep Ghosh got a new posting
Let us tell you that Sandeep Ghosh, who resigned amid protests over the murder of the doctor, was given a new appointment in Calcutta Medical College within a few hours of his resignation. However, the Calcutta High Court reprimanded the government for this and sent Sandeep Ghosh on indefinite leave.

Ghosh used to ask for bribe to get the exam passed
Ali claimed that Ghosh used to demand bribes to pass medical students. He said that some students were deliberately failed in the college so that he could collect money. Ali alleged that Sandeep Ghosh had a fixed commission everywhere.
