The investigation of the rape-murder case of a doctor at RG Kar Hospital in Kolkata is in the hands of CBI. Meanwhile, Kolkata Police has registered FIR in two separate cases. In this, one case is for spreading wrong information and the other is for revealing the identity of the victim. In both these cases, Kolkata Police has sent inquiry notices to two doctors and BJP leader Locket Chatterjee.

Kolkata Police has called Dr. Subarna Goswami and Dr. Kunal Sarkar for questioning for allegedly spreading misleading information about the post-mortem report of the victim. However, Subarna Goswami claims that he has not received any notice yet. If found, he will join the interrogation. At the same time, Dr. Kunal Sarkar has admitted that he has received a notice from Kolkata Police this morning. He will appear at the police headquarters tomorrow as he is out on some work today.

Kolkata Police has also called former BJP MP Locket Chatterjee for questioning. Police sources say that he revealed the identity of the victim and shared wrong information about the investigation. He has been asked to appear by 3 pm today.
There was brutality with the doctor in the hospital
Let us tell you that on August 8-9, a female doctor was brutally assaulted in the seminar hall of RG Kar Hospital, Kolkata. A graduate resident doctor on duty at the Government RG Kar Medical College and Hospital was allegedly sexually harassed. She was found in an unconscious state in the seminar hall. He was immediately taken to the doctor, but he died during treatment. There were many injury marks on his body.

A video of Nirbhaya’s mother Asha Devi was also revealed, in which she said, ‘It has been more than a week since the incident but till now it is not known whether the girl was assaulted by any one person or her relatives. There has been a gang rape…such a disgusting crime has happened with a doctor when she was on duty in the hospital. When doctors are not safe inside the hospital then what can we think about common women and girls. All the accused should be caught immediately. They should be punished immediately.
