A doctor who conducted the autopsy of a woman doctor in the rape-murder case at RG Kar Medical College and Hospital in Kolkata has revealed a major truth. Dr. Apurva Biswas, a member of the forensic team who conducted the autopsy, claimed that he was pressured by a man claiming to be the victim’s uncle to conduct the autopsy as soon as possible. He told doctors, “If I don’t do an autopsy today, I’m going to bleed a lot.”
Dr Apoorva Biswas was summoned by the CBI for questioning on Sunday. The investigative agency interrogated him for about five hours. After returning from there, he issued a statement. He said a man claiming to be the victim’s uncle requested an early autopsy. But the autopsy will take time due to delays in receiving documents. BJP leader Subhendu Adhikari posted on Biswas’ statement.
He wrote on the social media platform that earlier, he worked as a consultant to CPM in Panihati. Later he joined TMC. He is currently very close to Panihati TMC leader Nirmal Ghosh. The Sanjeev also signed a criminal conviction certificate without the knowledge of the victim’s family.
Shubhendu Adhikari further wrote, “Everyone knows that the last rites of the victim were carried out in a hurry. The police are monitoring the activities at the crematorium and hastily disposing of the body. On the instructions of Mamata Banerjee, Panihati MLA Nirmal Ghosh was present in person.” On the crime certificate There is another name/signature – Somnath Dey. Is he the leader of TMC?
